If you haven’t already heard about it, a formal complaint was made against #21 TT Gustavo Vildosola team (who garnered first place) by the #97 BJ Baldwin team with video footage of illegal pitting on the highway as the car was even in motion, as well as the same TT crashing through a tent in a pit. SCORE initially issued a press release on November 24 stating that it was currently under review, and on November 30 they announced the findings of their investigation. They applied a 90 minute penalty to #21, which dropped his placement in the Baja 1000 from first to eighth place, putting BJ Baldwin as the official winner.
