We just picked up a VW powered Cushion Flight 240 (hovercraft) and information is scarce. We were wondering if anyone has heard of them before and if anyone had information regarding them, photos, specs, anything? We know it is from the late 1960’s. We are planning on a full restore on it with a 1969 1600 engine and hope to take it to the Niello Ranch Run in Lincoln, CA in April 2012 for viewing. We do know that few of these were made, and they are even more rare now. What a fun and exciting project!
