Last weekend saw the stripping of the Booger, as well as too much time required to cleanse it of the Nevada silt that seems to get everywhere. Yesterday, the inside was scraped clean and given a new coat of shiny black paint…the rear used to be the original red of the car. Now we can find fallen washers better! Today the Booger is slated to be welded upon to repair the VORRA USA 500 damage to the rollcage, and hopefully by this evening the car will be going back together.
In addition, please be sure to check out the VORRA Prairie City races THIS WEEKEND! The grand finale of the VORRA series, this weekend promises plenty of action with a double-header (TWO days of racing!), as well as a costume contest, pumkpin carving contest, and excellent barbeque dinner on Saturday.
