The Season Opener at Prairie City, which kicked off the 2010 VORRA (Valley Off-Road Racing Association) racing season, was a hit for all who attended. With great competition, exciting races, tasty Casper dogs, and even spectators on a suspended couch in the back of a truck, the Opener had it all and a bag of chips. Unfortunately only two Class 11 Stock Bugs were able to attend, but it didn’t make it any less interesting. Saturday offered a qualification run to test the track, in which our Class 11 competition managed to give their car a new look. You can read about the Desert Dingo’s rollover HERE.
Sunday brought nice weather and friendly competition throughout the three motos run. The Class 11’s and the Class 9 cars were run together. Two Larrys is pleased to report a win on the first moto, a second to the Dingos on the second moto, and a win on the third moto. Good luck and thank you to the Dingos, who broke their transmission on the third moto, and we look forward to seeing them again in April.
