And two makes one…

And another day in paradise at TLR.

This weekend marks the tearing apart of the engine to freshen it up after last years escapades. The Booger itself finally was awarded a position in the coveted car barn, which with the beam apart we had to move it in a totally Larry way:

Next was finishing the new beam and prepping both pieces of the car for merging. Hence, two makes one. This was all on Saturday.

Sunday marked the marrying of the Booger with its donor piece for good. They are now one whole Booger! The doors have also been installed and further prep ensues as we ready the Booger for its date this week with Sierra Auto Body in Placerville, CA for a new coat of awesome obnoxious green.

The new clip is finally in place for the last time. Next step is to bolt and weld it together.
