The process of marrying the Booger to its new front clip (again) has taken a more serious level. Poor Ataboy is no longer much of a car. It’s in half pretty bad. And the wiring harness has been ripped from its nether-regions.
Slated for tomorrow (for me anyway, while Larry G works on engines): Booger prep, removing all electrical and then Larry G will measure and cut the Booger in half while Ataboy’s clip is prepped further (another washing, the hood seal pinch welt was removed today but needs grinding, removing of the undercoating, sanding, etc.). It’s sort of bittersweet when your C11 family member is cut up in half. But a newer, better, and electrically cleaner Booger will emerge from the pile of shavings and rust.
