CBCFS made their way once more to the TLR headquarters for the fabrication homestretch. With the Baja looming largely in the immediate future, the first weekend of November marked crunch time for these guys. They plan to be on the road headed south next week, and there was still plenty of work to do. They remained very organized though, and there’s a certain minor elation when you get to be the person to strike the pen across another line on the list. The photos are pretty self-explanatory for the weekend’s work – though obviously there was so much that had to be done that wasn’t captured on camera. We are pleased to report that after several late nights (it’s not racing if it’s not a late night, right?), #1116 is back on the road with its throaty Class 11 voice and raring to go. CBCFS made it home safely, this time with the Ghost in tow, and will use the rest of this week to button up the car in preparation for the 2013 SCORE Baja 1000.
We are proud of CBCFS, and proud to help them out on their admirable quest for success in the Baja 1000. So many dream of taking part in this seemingly insurmountable feat – these guys are actually following through with their dreams. It has been a pleasure to work with them, and we appreciate their insatiable desire for learning and being better at what they do. TLR would like to wish all competitors the best of luck in the upcoming race, the grand-daddy of all off-road races. Have a safe trip, and over all have a GREAT time.
And if that isn’t enough entertainment for the day, this song by Guttermouth pretty much sums up the last two months for all of us!
