This week marked an ENTIRE week of CBCFS really making headway with The Ghost. The vast majority of the intensive work is completed, which brings #1116 back to looking like a Class 11 race car again:
These guys have significantly enhanced their travel and clearance – look how tall the car is now, comparative to prior! It’s really coming along well, and we have high hopes and well-wishes for CBCFS come Baja-time. Did we mention that the SCORE Baja 1000 is in seventeen days, not including travel time? One more work weekend and this car should be ready for the trailer and silt-bound. Remember, CBCFS is probably the youngest team to be competing in the Baja this year – they are only seventeen. Look how far they have come with a lot of learning, a great attitude, and perseverance. It’s pretty impressive, if you ask us.
The motor will be ready for installation next weekend as well. Until next time!
