CBCFS Racing Prepping for Baja 1000 at TLR

It was brought to my attention by a friend that I have neglected updates on this site in lieu of our Facebook page for some time now. For that, I apologize!

Paul Nauleau, head of CBCFS Racing and #1116, contacted us again in early 2015 about his plans for making November’s 2015 BugLight SCORE Baja 1000. Well, of course we would love to help him race it again! As a refresher, you can read about their previous experiences prepping for the 2013 Tecate Baja 1000 with us at Two Larrys Racing headquarters HERE.

Paul spent three weekends with TLR, and worked on #1116 at home during the week as well, between college time. One thing about this team – they are organized AND determined! Here are some photos of his time spent here. TLR’s main job was to freshen the engine and prepare it once again for the Baja 1000. Tranny was freshened up by Ken Porter at Porter’s Precision.

After the prep was finished, Paul came back to TLR for a test day. We originally planned for Prairie City, but the weekend before and after were reserved for the VORRA short course races and the Hangtown motocross races respectively. Ever the problem-solvers, we made a test track on our own property, so yes, this is private land in these photos. I think Paul and Will had a lot of fun.
