SCORE initially issued a press release on November 24 stating that it was currently under review, and on November 30 they announced the findings of their investigation. They applied a 90 minute penalty to #21, which dropped his placement in the Baja 1000 from first to eighth place, putting BJ Baldwin as the official winner.
